Hello There........

I'm finally here with my Card for the new Challenge over at Truly Scrumptious,it was scheduled for Wednesday but didn't publish.....

This time we have the theme of....

DISTRESSING,DIE CUTS/PUNCHES

Here's my card 

I've used a Hanglar Stanglar image coloured with promarkers & flexmarkers......And then cut out with my spellbinders nesties and inked around the edge with antique lace distress ink.....The papers are from the vintage paper pack from Bazzill,beautiful papers,I've distressed the edges with my Tim Holtz tool and then inked the edges with antique linen distress ink

All the card is from my stash.....The flowers are from Mulberry crafts and the ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons,the pearl brad and spacer are both from my stash...

The Border has been punched with a Martha Stewart punch, the sentiment is from a Kirsty Wiseman set..... 

And as you can see I've decorated the inside to compliment the front......

Best friends.....

We have sunshine here so going to make this quick so I can get some washing on the line,bet just as I finish hanging it out the heavens will open.....Today it's time for a new challenge over at Crafty Ribbons and my lovely team mate Charlotta is hosting and she has a colour challenge for you all,she has chosen....

YELLOW,ORANGE & PINK....

Here's my card.......

 I've used a fabulous image from Mo Manning........I've coloured with polychromos pencils and blended with sansodor this time.......The Gingham paper is from the Forever Friends Spring Chic pad.....The card is all from my stash......

The orange card I've embossed using the patchwork embossing folder from the Boofle range.....The pearl gems have been coloured with my promarkers and the flowers are from Mulberry Crafts.....I've just finished off by doodling around the edge with black pen....The ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons....

A little peek to show the inside which has been decorated to compliment the front....

Toot Toot Beep Beep...

Oh my it's wet and windy here,weather that is not me....lol...

I'm so sad today as it's my last Spotlight Designer spot for Simon Says Stamp,I'd just like to say a really BIG THANK YOU to everyone at Simon Says Stamp,the Design Team and  especially Lorraine for letting me join in with them for the last four challenges I have thoroughly enjoyed it....

This time it's an ANYTHING GOES challenge......

The Design Team are highlighting Paper Smooches...I would like to say Thank You to Kim Hughes for the fabulous stamp set she gave to me......

  if you have any of the stamps the team would love to see you use them,but it is not necessary to join in.....

As usual Heidi will be giving one lucky entrant a $50 voucher to her FANTASTIC Simon Says Stamp Superstore !! For fabulous tutorials, inspiration and candy you should keep an eye on theSimon Says Stamp Blog too....

Also Kim Hughes, the designer of the lovely Paper Smooches range of stamps is giving a 2nd lucky winner a choice of 2 stamp sets ! .....So lots of reasons to join in....

For my card I used the Spiffy Scooters stamp set such a great fun set......I've coloured with promarkers and then used a freehand cloud template to ink the cloudy background .....And then used my Grand Calibur Machine  and my Grand Circle Nestabilities to cut my card base and layers...The layers on my base card have been cut in half and layered together....The papers are from the Bo Bunny Alora pad

The card is from my stash but can be found here in the Simon Says Stamp store.......

I've added small gems around the edge and two small roses from my stash similar ones can be found here and here...... The sentiment is from the same Spiffy Scooters stamp set..... I've then added ribbon along the top edge and tied a bow......

A little hello.....

I wish the weekends didn't go by so quickly,but here we are Monday morning again and time for a new challenge over at Cards for Men this time we would like to see.......

The Design Team were given some fabulous images to play with and here is my card....

I've used Miss Fortune for my card coloured with Promarkers and flexmarkers and I've used my spellbinder nesties to cut out doing the out the box technique....I've used the gingham card and the bazill swiss dot card from my stash....The silver mirri card I've put through a spellbinders m-bossibilities  embossing folder.....And the corrugated card is again from my stash....  

The raffia lace,ribbon and black glass gems are all from my stash,I have so much stuff I'm trying to use up....

The stars have both been punched out with Woodware punches then layered together and a gem added...The sentiment is from a little set but I can't remember who they are by sorry.....

Just Hanging out with my Rabbit....

I'm back everyone,feeling so much better but with a list so long of things to catch up with including paying all of you a return visit and comment,I will get to you all as soon as I can so please be patience with me....Today is time for my third Spotlight challenge with the fabulous Simon says Stamp Challenge ....

And here's my card.....

For this card I've used Tilda with hanging rabbit coloured with promarkers .....Then cut out and layered onto a mat which has been punched with my Martha Stewart Cherish punch around the page set. I have only punched the corner and either side not all the way around so it gives a different look.....

The papers are from the Miss Caroline 6 x 6 paper pad called Dolled up   I've used the sentiment on the paper as a focal point.....The card is from my stash....I've used another Martha Stewart punch for the border on the pink card it's an old one but in the Simon Says Stamp store there is one very similar called Eyelet Lace .....The flowers again are from my stash but similar can be found in the store here .......The ribbon and gems are also from my stash but similar can be found here and here in the Simon Says Stamp Store...

With Love......

Thankfully the weekend is here so we can have a lazy day....I'm feeling a bit better than I did yesterday each day is better,so hopefully I'm getting rid of this awful flu bug thing and will be able to get back to normal....

For those of you going to the show at Ally Pally have a fabulous time wish I was going,but just don't think I would cope feeling like I do,hope you all get lots of new goodies....

Right on to the new challenge over at A Gem of a Challenge this time my team mate Lisa N is hosting and she has this fabulous sketch for you all....

And here is my card.....

I've used one of the new Best of British images from Pink Gem Designs called British Love Heart I've cut it out with one of my spellbinder heart dies and added gems around the edge and glitter to the pink.......

The papers are digi ones again from Pink Gem Designs from the Distressed Hearts and Distressed Gingham sets they match so perfectly ......The flowers are all from Mulberry Crafts ......The ribbon and gems are from my stash...

And here is a little peek at the inside decorated to compliment the inside.....

Things with wings

 Oh my this week is flying by,Thursday already so it's time for a new Challenge over at Crafty Ribbons and this time my lovely team mate Maja aka Cebelica is hosting and she has the theme of.....

"Things with wings".

Look at the fabulous prize this time it's one of the new DVD's from Crafty Ribbons......

For my card I found a beautiful stamp set I've had for such a long time it's by Elusive Images, unfortunately they are no longer around..... 

Again I've used one of the 8 x 8 cards,I've made 4 layers of black & White card and pricked around the last white layer....

I've used a script stamp and a Kaleidacolour ink pad called flannel to stamp directly on to my card.....I've then used the same ink pad to stamp the butterfly out twice,I've then cut them both out fixed one flat to the front of the card and then raised the second one on pads and fixed over the first one... I've also used glamour dust on the top one in all the white area's the pic doesn't show it very well....

The sentiment is from the same set and I think is lovely......The gorgeous green ribbons are from Crafty Ribbons....I've tied two bows and then put a green pearl brad through the centre and I've then added 4 pearls down the centre to finish off....

A little peek at the inside I've stamped the butterfly again in the top right corner and pricked around the outside again....

Time for my second Spotlight Designer spot,with Simon Says Stamp Challenge......

The theme this week is...

APRIL SHOWERS/SPRING FLOWERS

And here's my card......

Something a bit different for me this time......

Again I've used an 8 x 8 card as it suited what I wanted to do....Lots of layers of spring coloured card on this one...I've pricked around the edge of the piece of white card using my Tim Holtz Design ruler ......On to this I've layered all my card.....I've then used a piece of paper out of the Basic Grey pad called Indie Blooms for my background.....I've then cut out four borders from my Sue Wilson Designs Lattice Accents set from Spellbinders ...I've then laid them over the decorative paper so they overlap......On to these I've cut four corners from the same set out of the dark purple card and just added them to the corners....

The flowers and sentiment are from the Hero Arts/Basic Grey set called Lauderdale Floral.....I've coloured with Promarkers  and added a small pearl gem to the centre,these have then been put into the centre of the decorative paper.....I've then gone around the edge with some liquid pearls .....And just to finish off I have a double bow finished with a pearl brad through the centre...

Hope you've all had a lovely Easter weekend it went so quickly,one good thing for those of you who work it's a short week....Sorry I'm late with my post but we have actually been away in the caravan,bit last minute,wish we hadn't now as I went down with the most awful cold and sore throat and really feel awful,but we are home now so I can curl up in my P.J's and continue to feel sorry for myself...lol.....Mr Blogger didn't publish for me this morning as we were travelling home so here we go....

Do you want some......

Come on own up how many Easter Eggs have you all eaten????...I've been really good and not eaten any,well not any of my own that is...lol...Had some of Katy's,I know shame on me eating her's,but I'm doing her a favour think of all those calories I've saved her from....

My card today is another one I was sure I had posted,but hadn't......

This was actually my DT card for A Gem of a Challenge for the challenge before the one we are on now,I was a bit late with it and was sure I had posted it but no had had a senior citizen moment again and forgot,never mind better late than never...I've used one of the pre-coloured Jodie with Easter egg digis from Pink Gem Designs,she's so sweet....I followed Jackie's sketch and used some papers from my stash think they are from the FF spring Chic pad but not sure.... 

I've cut Jodie out and then fixed her with foam pads to a nestie shape that has been run through my swiss dots embossing folder...The borders have been punched with my X-Cut lace punch.....The ribbon and pearls are from my stash..The sentiment if from a Wild Rose studios sentiment set which I brought from A Maze of Memories..The flowers are from Mulberry Crafts.......

With Love...

Well the weather here is awful at the moment raining and dark,but I'm in the dry and lovely and warm so not really complaining ......I just had to make a card with one of the new images from Pink Gem Designs called With Love Chicks

 I've coloured with Promarkers and Flexmarkers...Cut out and layered on to pink card from my stash then I've embossed a piece of white card with an embossing folder from the Boofle range,love this one,so much detail and texture....

I've then punched two borders in yellow card with my MS punch and fixed to the embossed panel....The gingham card is from my stash....The gems and feathers are from my stash also....The flowers are from Mulberry Crafts......

He's as cute as a button.....

He is isn't he cute as a button....My card today is one I made a little while ago but completely forgot to post it...

I just love this image so sweet he's from Digital Delights called Little Dumpling...I've coloured him with my promarkers and flexmarkers......The papers are from an old Making Memories paper pad which I have had for so long.....

The ribbons are from Crafty Ribbons from their fabulous Baby Collection.....And they all mix and match so well,I love them......I've used one of the ribbons down the side of my image as the sentiment and the others have been used across my card and tied into a bow and finished with a button from one of the button boxes from Crafty Ribbons...

Can I just say a really big Thank you to you all for your comments on my Spotlight Designer spot over at Simon Says Stamp Challenge,I would just like to say I haven't joined the Design Team as a full member I will be playing along for the month of April so just 4 Challenges...I just wanted clarify as I had lots of e-mails as well and didn't want you all thinking the wrong thing,I'm still totally honoured and excited to be have been asked.....
