What do you think of this????.....

I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to make a card yesterday, busy with DT cards which you'll get to see soon.. I do have some samples I will show you just not yet...
.I did have a fab conversation yesterday with Ali from Crafty Ribbons and I mentioned how I store my ribbons,as per usual she had me laughing with something she told me,which had me chuckling all afternoon....

Anyway I thought I would show all of you my storage and my ribbons, now be warned I do love ribbons......

Told you I love ribbon...lol...I took the pic out on the patio yesterday afternoon,I couldn't get any closer as I ended up losing half the ribbons, but I think if you click on the pic you should get a better look....I just got fed up of my ribbons in a box as they always got tangled, this way if I need pink ribbon then all the pink is on the top row, blue on the next one and so on,makes it so easy....I would love to know what you think and how you store yours....
Have a great day....

Edited to show the rack without the ribbons and to show how it closes down to a small size

As you can see it will close back on it's self to make it smaller and then I just open it out when I'm making a card, but it's really easy to store as it just stands...Hope this explains a bit better....

Wow Mandy you do love ribbons! I am smiling here I have never seen so much ribbon not even in the shop.
You will never be short will you, but I must say what a brilliant way to store them and when folded up it doesn't take much room up does it.
My ribbon is on the spools in a plastic tub it does at times get tangled up, thank you for sharing with us.

Lol... Mandy this has made me smile.. i have one of those clothes airers in my craft room next to the ironing doing nothing..
I think it is a great fun idea and I may copy you lol... but I will have to buy more ribbon to fill it (hint to hubby lol.) as I dont have half as much as you.

Thanks for the inspiration lol

What a brilliant idea Mandy, and what a large ribbon stash you have, I have 4 big plastic boxes full, I like this idea because you dont have to search for colours, but my craft room is to small.

I think it is awesome and I do think you like ribbon! lol I have a ribbon rack that hold spools of ribbon and most of my ribbon is on spools as I had a Flower Shop a few years ago and couldn't part with the ribbon when we closed it down, so I have several rolls. A lot of mine has the wire on the sides -- any suggestions on using it.

well this is interesting! i've seen a lot of different ribbon storages, but this is the most interesting one to date! :p i bet it's nice to be able to see them all at once! unfortunatly i wouldn't have the space for it -- even if it does fold up nicely. thanks for showing. :)

OMFG Mandy. Yours ribbons storage is amazing. So many colours and samples. Clever way for storage. Might be difficult for you to choose which you use. My storage of ribbons is much smaller. I'm addicted with papers. Never have too much them. Have a nice day. Lily Anuska

Oh Mandy, that has made me laugh. I love ribbon but have nowhere near that amount. Mine are all in a box and do get in a bit of a muddle but I rather like having a rummage around when the rest of my stuff is oh so tidy.

Ok Mandy, firstly, your garden looks amazing! What a beautiful scene! Wow!

And secondly OMG fantastic idea - I thought I had a lot of ribbons. With little man taking over the entire house I am restricted to having my ribbons in a box so the usual tangled approach for me. I'm quite good with the nicer ribbons and bag them in craft bags to keep them tidy xx

Wow Mandy I thought I had a lot of ribbon even though I don't use it that often but your collection is amazing. Great way to store them though as I get fed up with every time I want a ribbon I have to iron it as they get screwed up in the draws I keep them in.
