Happy Christmas..........

Morning Everyone,

I hope your all reading this as it's a scheduled post,done from a borrowed laptop....Sorry I haven't been around but I've had problems with my laptop after it did an update last week,I couldn't use any browser's and I've lost all the pictures off of my blog from April this year back to when I started my blog,it deleted picasa, I'm so upset,but hoping to get them all back....I'm getting a new laptop so I should  be back to normal after Christmas.....

I just wanted to wish all of my followers,all my DT buddies and people who have left me comments,supported both me and my blog and entered all my candies.....

Look what I found.......

Hi Everyone,

Hope your all ok,really cold here,so I've been having a tidy up ready for Christmas...And I found this card that I'd made ages ago but hadn't photographed or blogged,so here it is....

I can't even remember why I made it....I know that it's one of the fabulous Kenny K images coloured with promarkers,but can't remember the colours.....

The card,twine and gems are from my stash and the sentiement is I think computer generated,but again not sure....A really CAS card by my standards....Anyways that's it....

Hooked On Crafts Challenge 14.....

Morning,

Where did the weekend go,I blinked and think I missed it....Today is time for another challenge over at Hooked on Craft,can't believe that we are up to challenge 14 already....This time we have the theme of......

For this challenge I decided to make a money wallet for my daughter as that is what the bulk of her Christmas presents will be money,it will be her Birthday in January also and she is going to London with friends shopping so asked for money for Christmas and her Birthday......I thought it would look so much nicer put into a wallet,then a box and put under the tree.....And as purple is one of Katy's favourite colours I used that as my colour theme...The papers are from last year and I can't for the life of me remember who they are by..... The image is from Hooked on Craft coloured with promarkers,.I've used my Go- Kreate dies to cut out the image and all the mats....

I've decorated all the layers with the same paper and the added some embellishments......The white card in the center is to try and show you the acetate which will hold the money in place,it will be taken out...All the flowers and pearls are from Hooked on Craft,the ribbon from my stash.....

For my card I've used one of the super cute latest images from Pink Gem Designs,called Teddy with Christmas tree cut out with my nesties...I've coloured with promarkers and flexmarkers,his hat has had glitter added and I've added glossy accents to the baubles on his tree.....

The papers are from the Nitwit collection Beary Christmas too......The flowers are from Mulberry crafts and the Happy Christmas sentiments are cut from ribbon from Crafty Ribbons.....I've also done faux stitching around all the layers with a white gel pen.....

Hi Everyone,

I just want to say a really big THANK YOU to everyone for all your help and comments on my post yesterday...

Firstly I need to say that there is no need to panic THERE IS NO DANGER ON MY BLOG I did think when I was putting the post onto my blog that I would probably end up panicking people and I could end up losing followers and I was right I did and I'm very sad to see them go,but being me I had to say something...... Right let me try and explain what is going on,now I'm not very techie,it all goes over my head,but here goes...

 It seems that when you go to comment on my blog you get a pop up appearing,I have also found out through lots of e-mail's,calls and all your comments that only a few of you are experiencing this and it would appear the ones who don't see it have a pop up blocker operating on their blogs which is STRONGLY RECOMMEND so if you don't have one or you haven't activated your one in your browser then please do so,if you don't want to see the pop ups.....

I remembered a few weeks ago the mega talented Bev Rochester over at All the Things I love had the same problem,Bev very kindly replied to my e-mail and told me the problem she had on hers was down to two certain things once these were removed the problem stopped and she has  had no problems since, she even went to my blog and checked it out for me and low and behold it didn't do it for her either.... So again a big Thank you to Bev...I thought unfortunately I don't run either of them so it couldn't be those then light bulb moment when I set my blog up Katy did get me an account for one of them but I haven't used it since Nov 2009 so off I went in search of how to get rid of it,found it, found all the info for it in my book signed in and would you believe up popped an ad for an i phone,I've deleted the account but it takes 48 hours to take effect...I'm hoping that it may have been the problem and that will be the end of it...But please keep letting me know so I can then explore other things if needs be.....

 I also found out from the lovely Lee over at Craftyloops who's Hubby very kindly gave me some advice that an advert can attach to a gadget, link, picture, maybe linked to a blog list or award.He also said it is not my computer which was a relief as I run the most up to date maximum  internet security you can get and was worried that it wasn't working.....I have it set that it scans my computer ever day for any problems,and it reports there are no problems....

Some of you have also let me know that other blogs you visit are having the same problem,I can't speak for them,but for me I needed to let you know and get it sorted.....

I hope I have explained as best I can and that you all understand its a pop up and nothing else and that I'm doing all I can to get rid of it and hopefully make sure that it doesn't happen again....BUT I have also found out that they are every where in blog land and the only way to stop them is to enable a blocker so please please as I said before if you haven't enabled yours then do so....

Please don't leave me it always upsets me when followers leave as I feel I've done something wrong,I never stop following anyone,I may not visit all of you as much as I would like but I always return visits and comments so I never understand why people leave having chosen to follow me in the first place.....I really do appreciate all my followers that's why I love doing candy's for you all to say thanks....Take care......

I'm still trying to get Christmas cards made so went with a card and here it is....

I've used a beautiful Tilda,which would you believe has been in my box coloured since last Christmas when she didn't get used shame on me....She had been coloured with promarkers......I've then cut her out with my nesties and stitched all around all the layers on my card......The papers are all from MME lost & Found the green card from my stash....

I've used some cheesecloth from my stash behind my image...The winter sentiment is from Cats life press and the corner is from sizzix.....The tree is a Marianne die which I cut a while ago for another card and didn't use,while I was looking for the corner it fell onto my card from the pile in my hand and I liked where it landed so I just added the gorgeous flowers from Mulberry Crafts on top of it with some punched leaves and stamens..Funny how sometimes things work by accident...I've then finished off with some of the gorgeous Christmas ribbon from Crafty Ribbons to make my sentiment at the top.....

Help!!!!

Hi Everyone,

A real quick post...The lovely Auntie Em left me a comment today saying that when she clicks on my comment box she gets a funny add page or something,I was just wondering if anyone else is getting it as I've asked a few people to try and nothing has happened so not sure what is going on, I'd like to get it sorted if possible,but I don't know what it is or how to sort it so any help would be so appreciated.......

I  have the latest Titanium Trend maximum 2012 security on my computer,I can't even send an e-mail without entering a password so any info is secure both going out and in.....

If anyone knows what it is or how to stop or get rid of it I really would like to know.....Thanks

At Last!!!!!....

Hi everyone,

Just popping on here real quick to show you the project I have been working on for about 2 weeks now,I've finally finished it..........

I've used polystyrene balls painted them with acrylic paint then glittered them,stuck them together with a hot glue gun and fixed them to a metal ring which I got from A Maze of Memories...I've then used some gorgeous ribbons from Crafty Ribbons,I must admit I've had them sometime so Ali may have sold out of the exact ones,but there are bound sure to be similar or you could do one in completely different colours......I've then folded them to make double loops wired them and again fixed them to the wire ring.....

I've also added some pearls and bells in amongst the baubles,so it makes a lovely noise if you touch or move  it......I've then used more ribbon to make a bow with all colours and then wired 12 small bells together and fixed to the bow at the top to hide where the ribbons have been tied so it can be hung up.......Not sure the pics do it justice,but we had a lovely cold sunny day and I took the picture just inside the front door and the sun was coming in  through the glass in the door....Anyway that's it from me for now.....

I've used the fabulous Tweedledee & Tweedledum image from Mo Manning coloured with promarkers and then cut out with my nesties.....I've then used my Go-Kreate dies to cut out my card base and layers...I've used my funky star punch from woodware for my stars and then I tied a bow from bakers twine for the center  of the larger star....The ribbon and sentiment are both from my stash......

Just Tracys Craft Challenge......

Morning,

Firstly a big thank you to each of you for your comments and encouragement on my order of 30 cards,well they are all made,I'll get a pic a bit later as it's so overcast here at the moment,a few late nights,early mornings and comments to self on how I must teach my mouth to say the same thing that my brain is thinking...lol....

Secondly due to everyday things and the 30 cards I haven't got round to my candy,but promise I will be back later with the winner and a new candy for you all,maybe early evening as there is yet another soldiers repatriation today,my heart goes out to the family as it's so near Christmas....
