Crafty Ribbons Challenge 3......

Morning,

Looks like it's going to be another fabulous day here,I'm loving this late burst of sunshine really cheers everyone up.....Today is time for another challenge over at Crafty Ribbons Challenge and Leslie-Rahye is hosting this time,she has the fabulous theme of......

"BOO-tiful Halloween Projects--Pretty Spooky" [not just limited to cards].......

And we have these gorgeous ribbons for the winner......

And here is what I came up with....

So difficult to get a good pic.....I've used the boxes that you get the fabulous buttons in from Crafty Ribbons take a look here  to make a box easel card there are four drawers....I've used the Tim Holtz thingy's can't for the life of me remember their proper name,old age again...lol for the handles....All of the card is from my stash and the purple card has been run through the gloopy embossing folder.....

I've then used some of the fabulous Halloween ribbons again from Crafty Ribbons and you must checkout the fabulous new buttons especially for Halloween they are here  with the ribbons...

I've used the cute little Tilda image coloured with promarkers.....I've then used a bit of cheesecloth behind and again some ribbon from Crafty Ribbons just to finish off....The gems are from my stash and I've used an EK success punch to do the edge of my stop......The sentiment is computer generated....Right need to get myself sorted now as I've got a friends daughter coming to see me later and lots to do before she gets here..

Cards for Men challenge....

Morning Everyone,

Long time no see,thank you for all your e-mails and comments asking if everything was ok....I've been spending a lot of time at my parents the past week or so...They have LPG gas heating and unfortunately it's not safe for them to have it anymore so we are having a new heating system and some other jobs done to make life safer and easier for them....

Thursday I took them shopping in the morning,then back home got them lunch and then received a phone call from Katy's school to say that there had been an incident,apparently two 6 foot 16 year old boys had thought it would be funny in the P.E lesson when the teacher wasn't looking to grab Katy's ankles and run and drag her across the field which resulted in them taking most of the skin off her back and bottom,the outcome has been that she has to go and have it dressed each day which put paid to me going to the show at Ally Pally,hopefully I'll get to go next time....

Anyway that hopefully explains my absence and lack of time for commenting,blogging and crafting,but it's time for a new challenge over at Cards for Men and our theme is......

SPORTS....So we are looking for lots of sport themed cards,please make sure they are for a boy/man...

Here's my take on the theme....

I've used a Kenny K image coloured with promarkers the colours used were....

apricot,oatmeal,blush,powder blue,pear green,moss green,marsh green,olive green,

tulip yellow,sunflower,gold,sandstone,caramel,cinnamon,cocoa,henna,warm grey 1,2,3

The papers are from a Dovecraft pad and I've used some brown card from my stash on the two thin strips I've run them through an embossing folder......

I've been playing with my promarkers while I was at my parents as they were easy to take with me,I'm hoping my colouring has improved with them.....The sentiment is from a LOTV set stamped onto kraft card...And the little golf charm I've had in my stash for a while and never had a card to use it on...Oh forgot to say the border was punched with an EK success punch,right I think that's everything,please checkout the rest of the teams fabulous cards and join in with us.....I'll be back later to announce the winner of my candy....Take care.....

Hooked On Crafts Challenge 8.....

Morning,

I'm so sorry this post is late it was scheduled for last night but when I checked  this morning it hadn't posted,I still don't understand why I do the same thing every time and sometimes it doesn't post,but anyway here it is now,one good thing I've had a chance to enter some challenges....

It's time for another challenge over at Hooked on Craft and for this one we have the theme of......

RIBBON & LACE......

For my card I've used such a sweet little elephant image from Hooked on Craft coloured with polychromos pencils blended with sansodor.....I've then used my nesties to cut it out and layered onto another pink layer...

A Gem of a Challenge #30.....

Morning,

Yay it's the weekend,have you all got something good planned????......Me not much just a nice time with family....Anyway today see's a new challenge over at A Gem of a Challenge and my lovely team mate Jenny is hosting and she has this fabulous sketch for you all.....

And here's my card.....

I've used the fabulous Halloween Josh from Pink Gem Designs coloured with polychromos pencils blended with sansodor......The papers are from Nitwits called Hooligans too,the card is from my stash.....

The buttons are from my stash and I've used bakers twine tied through them.. The ribbons are both from Crafty Ribbons ...The sentiment is from Pink Gem Designs  also.....

Crafty Ribbons 2nd Challenge......

Morning Everyone,

Firstly I need to say a big sorry for the lack of post's and cards I've not been very well  for the last few days so not felt like doing anything but I'm on the mend and today see's the second challenge over at Crafty Ribbons Challenge...

It was great to see so many of you joining in with us,for the challenge this time we have a theme and it's one we all love...

ANYTHING GOES.......

Here is what I made........

I've used the lovely image called Christmas Candle,I've coloured with my polychromos pencils blended with sansodor...I decided to make an easel card which I love and should make more of.....The papers were pieces I found in my bit box and they were just big enough.......  

I then decided to make a box and decorate the top so another hunt through the box found some more paper which again was just big enough.....The ribbon is the gorgeous saddle stitch ribbon from Crafty Ribbons and can be found here lots of gorgeous colours.....

All the flowers are from Mulberry Crafts and I've punched the leaves with a Leone Em punch....I've also added three little bells under the flower at the top so the card makes the most lovely sound when it's moved....

The sentiment is from Cat's life press from Crafty Emma's Store ...I think that's everything except I'll be back a bit later to find some challenges,just go something to do first..

Truly Scrumptious Challenge ....

Just a quick post today as I'm going to a funeral this morning so need to be quick...Today see's a new challenge over at Truly Scrumptious and for this one my team mate Bente has the theme of.....

I've used one of  gorgeous Hanglar Stanglar images that a lovely friend gave me you know who you are....

I've coloured with polychromos pencils blended with sansodor then cut out with my nesties....The card is all from my stash and the patterned  is by Kanban.... 

The flowers are all from Mulberry Crafts and the ribbon from my stash...The spacer and pearl brad are from the Hobby House.....

And this is the inside....The sentiment on the tag I brought at the stamp show at Newbury it's an impression obsession one....I've used the same card for the inside.....

Hi Everyone,

Another fortnight gone already so it's time for a new challenge over at Hooked on Crafts and this time we have the theme of......

"SPRING HAS SPRUNG"......

I've used the super sweet Butterfly Bear sitting with flower from Hooked on Crafts,coloured with polychromos pencils blended with sansodor,then cut out with my nesties......

The papers are from a Jellybean pad and the card is from my stash,I've used my MS Cherish punch to punch the border....I've used the bud and bow ribbon and all the flowers and bee pin from Hooked on Crafts..... Please checkout the challenge and the teams fabulous cards......

A Gem of a Challenge 29.....

Morning,

I've had a real job with Mr Blogger,he didn't want to let me upload my pics to my blog or the A Gem of a Challenge blog,but after spending ages last night and this morning I've finally done it,but the challenge blog post for some reason has lots of white highlighted areas which I can't get rid of,any ideas or tips would be appreciated.....

It's my turn to host again  at A Gem of a Challenge and I've got a colour inspiration for you all.....

And here's my card......

I've used Funky Snowman for my image from Pink Gem Designs coloured with Spectrum Noir pens from Crafter's Companion,the colours are from the turquoise, pink ,purple and blue sets......The card is from my stash and the paper is from the new Me to You Winter Wonderland pad....

The heart and snowflakes have both been punched with MS punches....The ribbon and gems are from my stash,and the sentiment is one from a free set on the new Creativity magazine.....

Crafty Ribbons 1st Challenge......

Morning,

Yep it's finally here today see's the 1st challenge over at Crafty Ribbons Challenge....I'm hosting this challenge and as we are getting ever nearer to Christmas I thought with all the fabulously gorgeous Christmas ribbon over at Crafty Ribbons we would have the following theme...

"Festive Cheer in September"

Ali and Tony have given us a gorgeous prize for the winner.....

A selection of Christmas bauble ribbon......

For my card I've used this gorgeous image from Teddy Bo,coloured with polychromos pencils blended with sansodor......And cut out with my Go-Kreate dies...

I've used the gorgeous lost and found paper from MME....The card is from my stash so is the kraft card and the gems...

The flowers are from Mulberry Crafts and I've sprayed with glamour dust and then added some glamour dust...If you look closely in with them are three little bells the card makes a lovely sound when you hold it,also at the back I have used a new scroll-work die from memory box,you'll be seeing this a lot more so delicate....

And of course I've used some of the gorgeous new Exclusive ribbons from Crafty Ribbons they can be found here   

I also had a play and made these decorations which look like pine cones....

Very simple to make and again I've used the lovely Gingham and seam binding from Crafty Ribbons....
