I just want to say a really big THANK YOU to everyone for all your help and comments on my post yesterday...
Firstly I need to say that there is no need to panic THERE IS NO DANGER ON MY BLOG I did think when I was putting the post onto my blog that I would probably end up panicking people and I could end up losing followers and I was right I did and I'm very sad to see them go,but being me I had to say something...... Right let me try and explain what is going on,now I'm not very techie,it all goes over my head,but here goes...
It seems that when you go to comment on my blog you get a pop up appearing,I have also found out through lots of e-mail's,calls and all your comments that only a few of you are experiencing this and it would appear the ones who don't see it have a pop up blocker operating on their blogs which is STRONGLY RECOMMEND so if you don't have one or you haven't activated your one in your browser then please do so,if you don't want to see the pop ups.....
I remembered a few weeks ago the mega talented Bev Rochester over at All the Things I love had the same problem,Bev very kindly replied to my e-mail and told me the problem she had on hers was down to two certain things once these were removed the problem stopped and she has had no problems since, she even went to my blog and checked it out for me and low and behold it didn't do it for her either.... So again a big Thank you to Bev...I thought unfortunately I don't run either of them so it couldn't be those then light bulb moment when I set my blog up Katy did get me an account for one of them but I haven't used it since Nov 2009 so off I went in search of how to get rid of it,found it, found all the info for it in my book signed in and would you believe up popped an ad for an i phone,I've deleted the account but it takes 48 hours to take effect...I'm hoping that it may have been the problem and that will be the end of it...But please keep letting me know so I can then explore other things if needs be.....
I also found out from the lovely Lee over at Craftyloops who's Hubby very kindly gave me some advice that an advert can attach to a gadget, link, picture, maybe linked to a blog list or award.He also said it is not my computer which was a relief as I run the most up to date maximum internet security you can get and was worried that it wasn't working.....I have it set that it scans my computer ever day for any problems,and it reports there are no problems....
Some of you have also let me know that other blogs you visit are having the same problem,I can't speak for them,but for me I needed to let you know and get it sorted.....
I hope I have explained as best I can and that you all understand its a pop up and nothing else and that I'm doing all I can to get rid of it and hopefully make sure that it doesn't happen again....BUT I have also found out that they are every where in blog land and the only way to stop them is to enable a blocker so please please as I said before if you haven't enabled yours then do so....
Please don't leave me it always upsets me when followers leave as I feel I've done something wrong,I never stop following anyone,I may not visit all of you as much as I would like but I always return visits and comments so I never understand why people leave having chosen to follow me in the first place.....I really do appreciate all my followers that's why I love doing candy's for you all to say thanks....Take care......

Im glad you figured out what the issue was. I am sorry to hear that you have lost followers over it. That is so sad, But this is one follower that wont be leaving. I look forward to seeing your beautiful creations. So please keep them coming. Hope you have a great day hun.

Hi Mandy. Had a feeling it may be just a pop up. I do have a pop up blocker on and would highly recommend that everyone does the same. Thanks for updating everyone. Keep up the lovely crafting. I thoroughly enjoy visiting your blog and seeing your beautiful creations.

Aww Mandy it's sad that people have felt the need to leave, after all there are always pop ups and spam on everything through the web. I'm glad I'm not one of those affected although a while back I used to get a pop up through Janets blog but I don't anymore. I think it also has to do with me using google chrome for blogger now and not internet explorer.

Oh my! Don't worry!!! I am going no where! :) I am sooo impressed with the speed and work you put into this matter. I DO have a pop-up blocker and somehow knew it wasn't your computer. While it wasn't happening with any other blog I have been on recently I have seen these before... Just not usually paper crafting sites. I too am very wary of gadgets, especially freebies, on my blog. Something very simple and innocent looking is usually the source.
BAH to SPAMMERS!!!! (Nasty little critters!) BUT never fear, I am still a follower and will still come over and see what you are creating and doing. Thank you again! {{{Hugs}}} :) I'll be back!!!

so sorry to hear you have had some leavers Mandy,I can understand why you feel a bit upset,after all it could happen to any of us and at the end of the day no harm was done to anyone
I have had no problems either today or yesterday and I for one will keep coming here, I love to see your creations and always leave inspired

I have to second what you say about getting your browser to block pop-ups, my Firefox browser does it. I can't tell you how - I got a teenage neighbour to do it lol!

Sorry to hear you have had problems Mandy. I have noticed some pop ups for ads but I just delete them. The problem with having pop up blocker on is that it stops you commenting sometimes when comments are a pop up. I hate losing followers too but the important thing is that the true followers stay. Marianne x
Ah who would leave you Mandy!! Thanks for the explaination, boy do these computers make us work hard lol. But so glad you got the problem sorted and probably helped a lot of sort their as well;)
awwwwwwwwwww Mandy what a shame you've had all this bother. I must admit I do run a pop up blogger but now and again your little blighter has gotten through. Not the end of the world though is it?
As for those who choose to no longer follow you. Well that's their loss sweetie. They miss out on loads of inspiration from your fab cards. I wouldn't lose any sleep over it:)

Yessssssssss I've managed to leave a comment dont ask me why or how lol, I decided to try again and the comment window popped up! I think blogger must be male lol and keeps having 'off' days, there's other sites that it wont let me comment on but I do wonder if they arent enabling their comment boxes properly!?!?

Fantastic explanation Mandy.
When I came to comment a few mins ago I again got the small pop up saying that IE had blocked and gave me options one of which was to 'always allow' which I chose.
Interesting.......I've had pop ups blocked (I thought) for a long time and I've only experienced this issue on your blog, however will see what happens next time around................fingers crossed.

Hi sweetie glad you have sorted your problem out, everyone in my household has pop ups blocked I would advise it to anyone.
I'm so sorry you have lost followers it upsets me too sweetie & always end up wondering why...what I will say sweetie is that I love your blog & those that have left.....well its their loss shug they are missing out on fabulous inspiration from a wonderful caring lady. Try not let it worry you hun you have a fabulous blog & I as well as many MANY others love to visit.

Just for people to know, if using Mozilla Firefox, the best blocker is "ad-block" it's a free complement and always work well.

As I have a pop-up blocker I never noticed this problem.
I'm sorry that you lost followers. When I would notice something like this I would tell the blog owner about this problem but I wouldn't stopp following. I only cancel a blog if I am not interested in it any more. Happend about five six time within 2 years. Don't worry, your blog is too interesting to leave... ;-)
I am a bit paranoid with my blog - I don't use any non-official widgets (the gadget thingies on the sidebar) and I check every side/picture I link to. I am so happy that I don't have to write html and this stuff as I hate it but on the other side I don't fully trust the readymade things.

Hi Mandy, I have a malware warning coming up on my blog today too, when I checked on my computer I had no viruses and when I asked on google to check my blog addy it said no threat was on there too, so I think maybe some things playing silly devils lol,
