Cards for Men challenge....

Morning Everyone,
Hope you all had a lovely weekend it was so cold here,my Mum has had a bad couple of days so the weekend just flew past and yep the new week has started so it all starts again...Anyway today see's the start of the new challenge over at Cards for Men,and for this challenge we have the theme Valentine/Love for you all and we are lucky to have Prairie Fairy sponsoring.....

Here is a little bit about them..

.Hello! I am Roberta from Prairie Fairy Designs. I am a new digital stamp company featuring artwork not only created by me but also my two kids, ages 9 and 12. They are featured on the site as the Fairy Princess and the Prairie Prince.

I have been an artist for as long as I can remember and have always loved to create. Two years ago my sister-in-law invited me to a rubber stamp party. I laughed and said "Maybe I will buy something if I can use it to stamp on canvases.". Needless to say, I was hooked! Two years later and a lot of learning about computers, I have finally accomplished my goal.

While digital stamping is relatively new in the papercrafting scene, it is what I believe to be such an amazing tool. Printed images have such clarity and vibrancy and gone is the need to re stamp an image because you didn't press hard enough or maybe you pressed too hard! They are also a lot easier to store and they can be reprinted over and over again. The fact that you can rotate and flip files, print them off the size of a postage stamp or as large as a scrapbook page makes them such a versatile medium. It is my sincere hope that I can help anyone who has hesitations about using digital images to embrace these amazing creative tools. If you have any questions about going digital, check out the site and the blog for more information. So head on over to http://www.prairiefairydesigns.com/ and check it out!....

And the prize is 5 Digis......

Here is my card the team were lucky to get to work with some digi's.....

I would like to enter the following challenges.......

I just love this image and she has been coloured with polychromos pencils blended with sansador, she has had her wings glittered with glamour dust,I then cut her out... The white and red heart were cut out with my nesties, then I run the red one through an embossing folder from the country companions range from do-crafts.....

The dotty card is from my stash and doesn't have a name on sorry, this has been cut in to strips then layered onto white card and stuck on to black card.....The sentiment is an Hero Arts one from A Maze of Memories and the wide black ribbon is from my stash and the lovely block and white check ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons lots of gorgeous colours to chose from.......
Please go over and checkout the challenge and all the gorgeous cards that the rest of the team have made.....

Also don't forget you still have time to enter my candy it finishes tomorrow night so take a look at the post at the top of my blog....

I'll be back later with another card.....

Nice papers.
It's been -30 Celcius here, so I'm not that wild about going out either. We had a big storm here last week and there's still places in the yard where it's 2-3 feet deep, but I'm not shoveling any more. I did most of the deck and was sore for three days. Oh well, it's the last day of January, so the worst month of winter is basically over.
