Pink Gem DT Card............

Morning Everyone,
Wow have I been busy these last few days that's why I've not been about much with any cards...I have been decorating my Mum and Dad's lounge for them, but why is it when you've decorated one room the others all suddenly need doing,so I ended up doing the lounge, kitchen, bathroom and toilet ...I still have the hall and up the stairs to do but that has to wait until Hubby is around as 2 years ago I decided to decorate up our stairs when no else was at home and well it all started good I went up the ladder with my tin of paint and started to paint right at the top everything was going so well until I couldn't reach any further and decided that I needed to move the ladder over so I looked down and that's when the problems started I have never felt so shaky or scared I couldn't get down I only had one hand to hang onto the ladder as the other was holding the paint tin,so you can image I'm stuck up the ladder in the house on my own with no way of getting hold of anyone and even if I could have the doors were all locked so they wouldn't have got in... to cut a long story short two hours later I had managed to talk myself into coming down one rung at a time that's why it took so long and my poor legs and arms ached for over a week,so no more going up ladder's for me...Anyway enough of my rambles Janet over at Pink Gem Designs has just released some new Christmas stamps and here is the card I made with one of them, they are all gorgeous pop over and take a look...I would like to enter it in to the Winter Wonderland Challenge which is Walking in a Winter wonderland.....

This is Chloe with Penguin ...I have coloured her with my polychromos pencils blended with sansador, the front of the robin I have glittered all of the fur on Chloe's hat, coat and boots I have put polar white flower soft to make it look like fur...I then cut it out with my nesties and used antique linen around the edge...The DP is tis the season from Bo bunny I've used both sides....

The other card and ribbon is from my stash....The sentiment is also from Pink Gem Designs...The snowflakes are punched out with a papermania punch twice layered up and a gem put into the middle....Hope you like it...So make sure you pop over to Pink Gem Designs as there is also 10% off of all promarkers but only until the end of August so you'd better hurry..... Katy goes back to school next friday the 3rd so things should hopefully get back to normal and I'll get a bit more craft time....Take care...

Morning.........

Morning Everyone,
Hope you have all had a lovely weekend...we had a busy one, went into Oxford to get everything for Katy for going back to school, wow that's cleared us out it get's more expensive every year and especially this year with her starting GCSE's...Then yesterday some friends came to visit they were visiting relatives in the area and came to see us..The weather was lovely up until yesterday evening and then it has rained non stop...We had a very sad thing happen last evening one of my elderly neighbours died very suddenly,it was so so sad to see the family my heart went out to them and I'm thinking of them all today...I made this card on Friday...

I would like to enter it into the following challenges.....
Just Magnolia - sentiment

I used distress inks to colour Tilda then I cut her out with my nesties and matted and layered her...
I used some magnolia papers and distressed the edges with Tim Holtz's tool then used sepia ink around the edges and added some glitter...

The flowers are from Mulberry Crafts and the lace and heart gems are from  my stash...the leaves are cut out with a nellie snellen punch...The sentiment is from an inkadinkadoo set.....I'm off now to my Mum and Dad's as I'm decorating their lounge for them so see you all later..Take care....

Pink Gem Designs DT Card...

Hi Everyone,

Back with my Pink Gem Designs DT card, i got to play with one of the fab christmas stamps "snow baby" here it is...

I would like to enter into the following challenges...
-Creative Card Crew - Sparkle & Shine

My image is coloured with polychromos pencils and blended with sansodor.
I followed the sketch from Friday sketchers, the silver mirri i cut to make a mat for the image to sit on, the white card behind has been put through the snowflake embossing folder by papermania and then layered onto silver mirri. The snowflakes were cut with shapabilities die which was a birthday present from a very dear friend, she knows who she is.. They have been layered and glittered and a small gem put into the centre, the ribbon and green card is from my stash and the sentiment is from a sheet bought from my local craft shop, but there was no name to say who's it is. Unfortunately the photographs don't show the card at it's best! off now to try and catch up with some commenting! see you all tomorrow...

Truly Scrumptious Challenge 39...

Morning everyone,
Today is the start of challenge 39 "buttons, bows & brads" over at Truly Scrumptious the sponsor for this challenge is Sew Many Cards
Here's a little bit of information about Angela and her store:

My name is Angela and I own Sew Many Cards. I have a husband, an almost 10 year old daughter, a two year old son, and a dog/puppy: Hershey. The images of Sew Many Cards came from a dream that my husband had of a group of animals that were "SEWN Together" with patches and stitching, hence the name, which he also came up with. You will find that every image in the Sew Many Cards collection has patches and stitching, even the ones that are not animals. I love to draw and almost every image is either an inspiration from my family or a request from my great customers and design team, so please ask if you need something specific or would like to request something be made. You can contact me at angela@sewmanycards.com

The lucky winner of our challenge will get to choose five images from the store as their prize.

Here is my card...

As I was away on holiday last week my card unfortunately was not made with one of Angela's fabulous images...

I have used one of the new releases over at Kenny K called "Develish Donna" I have coloured her with polychromos pencils blended with sansador, her wings gloves and stocking tops have been glittered, but it doesn't show up very well in the picture, the glitter is "Glamour Dust". I have used "Glossy Accents" on her lips and tear to make them shine, but again it doesn't show up very well in the picture! The blue spotty paper is "doodle bug" from my stash which i bought from Sparkle dreams Solance owns the shop and it's a specialist Magnolia shop aswell... All the other card, brads, string and button is from my stash also, the sentiment is from a kanban stamp set cut out with nesties. Don't know how much i'm going to get done today as i have the builders in again, need to finish off my Pink Gem Designs DT card, so will be back later to post that.

Holiday Snaps Day 1...

Evening All,
Had a lovely first day of our holiday, the weather is lovely even though it did rain all night! Must admit that we have got some children on the site who are a real pain seem to think that our pitch is also their pitch! Can’t blame the children though it’s the parents, I just don’t want them in my awning when we are trying to eat, and the parents are nowhere in sight. Here are some of the pictures from our last holiday that i was going to post whilst we were there but we couldn’t get any internet, don’t forget to leave all of your comments and Katy will pick a random winner from each day to win a small prize! So good luck everyone, I will be back tomorrow with some more pictures.
