Just Magnolia Challenge.....

Evening Everyone,

It's been a scorcher here today, a bit too hot for me and this afternoon it turned into one of those horrible sticky heats so  a second shower was the answer..I'd had a lovely morning my cousin called in I hadn't seen much of her these past few weeks as she has gone to live with her daughter for the time being following her divorce so it was lovely to catch up sat out in the garden...Luckily I had this card made already from sunday....

I would like to enter this card into the following challenge...

Tilda is coloured with my polychromos blended with sansador I have used spun sugar distress ink around the edge and then cut and matted with my nesties...The papers are all the girls paperie and the flowers,ribbon and sentiment are from my stash...

I was asked by a lady to make her a set of cards all the same except for the image and she wanted me to make them simple and to use my Dollie Mama stamps I brought these many moons ago when I first started to get interested in stamping and I just don't use them enough these days...I thought I would show you one card a day there are 11 in total so here is the first......

not the best pic I know but here is a close up....

The saying says" I love giving handmade gifts...pick a child"...

At least she was pleased with them....Anyway that's it from me for today,catch you all tomorrow....

Sketch Saturday and Pink Gem designs DT card.....

Evening All,

Hope you have a good few days....I didn't get back on Sunday to post my other card which I will do tomorrow, as you know we went out in the morning and then came back at lunchtime ready to watch what turned out to be a disappointing England playing footie, then we had family turn up so the day disappeared..And then yesterday had a text message from Tesco opticians to say that the glasses were ready so went and picked my Mum and Dad up drove the 20 miles only to find out that even though they had their eyes tested at the same time it was my Dad's glasses only so drove the 20 miles home and have to do the same again when my Mum's arrive possible Friday they said, oh well that's life as they say.... can anyone tell me who they are, it's always puzzled me...On to my card...

I have used one of the new  Stamps called Chloe in the garden, she has been coloured with my polychromos pencils and blended with sansador.....The DP is Delovely by Cosmos Cricket I got it from The stamp Attic..All of the other card is from my stash,as is the ribbon,card candy and flowers...

Even Hotter Today.....

Wow wasn't yesterday hot and it's looking like it's even hotter for today...I managed to make a couple of cards yesterday will post one now and one later if I get a chance as I have to go out this morning.....Want to be back to finish a card and watch the football.....Anyway here is my card...

I have used a sugar nellie stamp this is Custard she is coloured with polychromos pencils..I have pierced around with edge with a paper pricker and then matted and layered...The card is all from my stash...the ribbon is reused it was on some pyjamas from primark...the flowers are punched out with my woodware punch and I've put a candy in the center....Anyway got to fly hubby is waiting catch you all later...

Two Challenges....

Morning,
I had two cards to post yesterday but didn't get a chance...I had to take my Mum and Dad into town again to get their eyes tested this time,I don't know if I've said but my Mum is partially deaf in both ears and my Dad is deaf in his left ear, neither can get on with their earing aids so tend to leave them out,so if people don't speak up they sometimes don't hear at all or only get a small part of the conversation it makes for some funny answers and yesterday was no exception...I went in with my Mum who looked a bit like Benny Hill's character Fred Scuttle (Wow I'm showing my age remembering that) so I got the giggles made worse by the fact of the lovely man doing the test saying everything really loud and slowly..so that was my day yesterday but anyway onto my first card please scroll down for the second one...

Friday Sketchers - Sketch

I have used one of the images from Pink Gem Designs coloured with polychromos pencils blended with sansodor...I cut and matted the image then pricked all around the edge....all of the card,paper,ribbon and gems are from my stash trying to use some of my scraps up...

The corners have been punched with a woodware punch..the sentiment is a rub on....I have flipped the sketch...

On to my second card.....

This time I have used a stamp from Sugar Nellie called Rory he is soo cute again I have coloured with polychromos....I have cut and matted him with my nesties and used wild honey to blend around the edge...the white card I ran through my swirls embossing folder..the DP I have used a piece from both sides it is S.E.I happy day it has glitter on the flowers but the pic doesn't show this very well...The star is cut out with a woodware punch and the buttons are from my stash...The sentiment is from a papermania set... I have the day to myself again so I'm off to put some washing on and then make a card.....Take care..

Two days in a row......

Two days in a row that I get to post a card,must be a record for me at the moment I'm not saying anything else in case I jinx my luck....Here is my card....

I have used one of the gorgeous Hanglar images again coloured with polychromos pencils and blended with sansador..I have used faded jeans distress ink to make the sky background,then cut out with my nesties and matted and layered...

I can't tell you what the pink background paper is as it's a scrap from my box with no name on it the other is

the girls paperie which I bought from The Stamp Attic all of the other card is from my stash....The sentiment is an Hero Arts stamp again from The Stamp Attic...The ribbon and gems are from my stash.....It's taken me about 15 minutes to type this up in between sneezing so I'm off now to put some eye drops in and blow my nose..and then I think my mojo and my time are slowly getting back together so I feel another card coming on...See you all later....

Wow I've been busy this morning I've been into town and taken My Mum and Dad to the Doctors, come back hoovered,dusted,hung the washing out and visited some of you and left comments while my card dried and here it is....

Everybody-Art-Challenge - Sketch

I'm not sure if I've mastered the shabby chic yet but hopefully the more I do the better I'll get..I've coloured my hanglar with my polychromos pencils and blended with sansador as usual then just shaded with antique linen distress ink around the edge...The papers are paper crate brought from The stamp Attic I have used Tim Holtz's distressing tool around the edge and then inked them with walnut distress ink....

I have cut the image out with my nesties and matted and layered it together...and followed the sketch at Everybody-Art-Challenge...the swirls are cut with a Tim Holtz die put through my big shot..all of the flowers,card,ribbon are from my stash and the leaves have been cut out with my McGill punch..Well that's all folks I'm off now to make myself a cup of tea and some lunch and then I have the afternoon to myself so I'm going to try and make another card...Take care...

Bet you thought I was lost in action didn't you....No I've been busy getting my cards and kits ready for my class yesterday and then again on Saturday..Also been busy doing lots of jobs and bits and pieces for my Mum and Dad,poor hubby has to do most of the gardening at the moment at both house's because of my hayfever,but I have managed to make two cards..on to the first...Please scroll down the post for the second one...

I've made this one for Katy to give to her Godfather on Fathers day..I've used one of the cute Hanglar images coloured with polychromos pencils..the easel card is cut out with my nesties..I've used antique linen distress ink blended around the outside..All of the card, ribbons and buttons are from my stash..the ticket sentiment is cut out with a Tim Holtz die and then I've stamped in the middle..I would like to enter this into the following challenge...

Lovely Hanglar Only Challenge......

Hope your all well,weather's not great here drizzling a bit but it means the hayfever is not so bad...When I was blog hopping the other day I found that there was a new Challenge for the adorable Hanglars called lovely hanglar only and they would like to see pink and green on your card... so I knew I just had to made a card and enter so here it is...

She is coloured with my lovely polychromos pencils and blended with sansador and paper stumps,I've then used antique linen distress ink to blend around the edge....cut her out with my nesties and matted and layered onto green card..the papers are from the papermania regency pad....

the ribbon,gem in the centre of the bow,flowers are from my stash I've used my McGill punch for the leaves...the ticket was made with my new Tim Holtz ticket strip die it's brilliant I've then just gone over it with the distress ink again...Oh forgot the flowers have been sprayed with pearl glimmer mist and then sprinkled with glamour dust...Hope you like it...See you later...

A Gem Of A Challenge 5 Card....

Morning everyone,
I'm feeling brilliant today it's raining so I get a break from the hayfever sad isn't it that I'm loving the rain...Over at A Gem of a Challenge we are up to challenge 5 already  and it's Debby who is hosting and she wants to see you all use Ribbons and Buttons on your cards, here's my card......

I got to play with one of the new designs from Pink Gem Designs called fairytale Chloe these polymer stamps will go on sale Wednesday evening,so why not pop over and check out all of the new designs...I have coloured Chloe with polychromos pencils as usual and used some glittered gingham card from my stash for the backgrounds matted onto the lovely new melon mambo card from stampin up...the dew drops and ribbon are from my stash and the sentiment is from a papermania set...I would like to enter it in the following challenge...

Pink Gem Designs DT Card....

Morning All,
Look's like it will be another nice day here,I'm loving the sunshine but the old hayfever isn't...Had a lovely day out yesterday as it was Hubby's 21st birthday..lol yes I know that makes me 18 but I will be 19 next month when the old birthday comes round there is a bit of VAT to add to those ages I know.. well quite a bit actually...I've been up early this morning and managed to make my DT card for Pink Gem Designs....

I've used Peek-a-boo Marvin digi from Pink Gem Designs isn't he a cutie..He's coloured with polychromos pencils and blended with sansador...I made the background with my letrajet air marker and my promarkers I cut out two cloud shapes and then sprayed let me know what you think.??..I then cut out Marvin and raised him on some pads put him onto the background and then used my L-Em picnic punch to do the grass along the bottom....the two outside ones are also on pads...the ribbon and charm are from my stash and the sentiment is from Pink Gem Designs, I wanted it to look like it was part of the leaves, not sure if I managed this... why not pop over and check out all of the gorgeous stamps and digis that Janet has you'll find some real bargains at the moment...Anyway got to dash as I've got to take my Mum and Dad to the solicitor today but will try to catch up with you all later...

And what a gorgeous one it is too....At last I've managed to make a card this one is using those ever so gorgeous hanglar images....

Sir Stampalot Challenge - Punches

I have taken the wedding and some thing blue theme and followed the sketch....I have coloured the images with polychromos pencils blended with sansador then matted and layered them onto blue glitter card and silver mirri..The borders are punched with my MS punch..The hearts are also a MS punch...

All of the card,flowers and ribbon are from my stash...A few of you have asked how I did the scene on the tent card that I posted on Friday before I went away..well I used my new toy it's the letra jet airbrush system and it's brilliant you just put your promarker in and it turns into an airbrush system so the possiblities for backgrounds etc are endless the fence was punched with an MS picket fence punch and the stones are an art impressions stamp hope this helps...off now to try and make another card,I've got Alicia Keyes for company I'm loving her new song at the moment also Michael Buble has some competion from another canadian Justin Bieber I know I'm old enough to be his mother well actually grandmother but I'm liking his songs much to Katy and her friends amusement...anyway the kettles boiled so a nice cup of tea and then crafting..see you all later..

Hope you all had a fabulous weekend ours wasn't to good the weather was awful as usual,But I did get to meet up with a Blogging buddy  it was lovely...and on the saturday evening we had such a laugh as in the next feild to us there was a rally and they had a fancy dress party so there  were the 118 men running around closley followed by a giant banana and no I hadn't had a drink....
