A real Quick post....

Hi Everyone,

Sorry but this is a real quick post as Hubby and myself are waiting for Katy to come in from school and then we are off in the caravan for the weekend..I had a lovely start to the week my friend booked me onto a colouring course with her it was so much fun and I learnt so much but unfortunatley I haven't been able to put it to good use as I've been chasing my tail for the rest of the week...Anyway here are my two cards to show you the first one I made for last weeks Simon Says Stamp challenge and then didn't get round to post it and the other is for Katy's friend for her birthday...hope you like them I will edit this post when I get a chance to tell you all the bits I've used as Hubby needs me now....

Anyway that's it from me Katy has just come in the door so we're off..keep your fingers crossed for us as the Easter and the last  Bank Holiday it rained all the time we were away...I'm hoping to take some pics there might be a small candy again if you guess where we are...Hope you all have a gorgeous weekend...take care...

Pink Gem DT card and new stamp release....

Evening Everyone,

Hope you've all had the fabulous sunshine which we've had here it's been gorgeous all day and now when we go outside all you can smell are the barbies it seems all of my neighbours have had the same idea so to the right I can smell burgers and to the left I can smell onions,we're hopefully going to do one tomorrow night..anyway onto my card now I've made you all feel hungary...Janet over  at Pink Gem Designs has just released some new stamps and I got to play with Andy on his swing he's soo cute...

I've coloured him with my polychromos blended with sansador then matted and layered him onto card from my stash....the grass is punched with my new L- Em picnic punch I then punched three flowers to go with it...

all  of the buttons and ribbon are also from my stash..the sentiment is from Pink Gem Designs...Make sure you pop over to Pink Gem Designs and check out all of the gorgeous new stamps......I'm offf now to watch a bit of Eastenders then a nice soak in the bath....see you all tomorrow....

A Birthday Party.....

Hi Everyone,

Sorry I've been awol these pass few days but I went to a funeral on friday and then saturday,sunday and part of yesterday I was... well no we were hubby,Katy and me helping my cousin sort out her new craft shed...Her husband started it for her in November last year but unfortunatley he died in December so it was never finished and she hadn't felt like going in there or doing any crafting but thankfully she is feeling a bit more positive and wanted to start using it so we have painted,laid a floor,put up a work bench and cupboards and then we got to put all of her nice things out..when I came back yesterday afternoon my friends daughter came over it's her birthday today she's 6 and she wanted to make cakes with Katy and me for her party which we have just come back from...Her Mum my Friend bless her won't mind me telling you she can't cook the amount of disasters she's had...Her daughter didn't want a big birthday cake she wanted cupcakes one each for her friends and fairy cakes.. so here they are she was a bit heavy with the sugar on some of the fairy cakes...

I needed to make her a card and she loves Tilda and cooking so what better than this adorable Tilda....

I have coloured her with polychromos pencils blended with sansador cut her out and mounted her onto blue and pink card. I have used antique linen distress ink around the edge and added a bit of sparkle round her feet..I have used a MS punch around the page punch to make the top white mount and then layered this onto aqua,blue and pink card....

 

The ribbon and flowers are from my stash.... the sentiment is from Pink Gem Designs because she does make me smile, and the leaves are punched out with my McGill punch....

I have just noticed a couple of challenges which I would like to enter,

I have used Andy with puppy from Pink Gem Designs coloured with polychromos and blended with sansador...the paper is MME wild asparagus...all of the card,ribbon and buttons are from my stash..

Also the photo thingy at the top and the star brad which I have secured it with and the springy thing holding the sentiment which is from Pink Gem Designs are also from my stash..off now to put the coffee machine on and get the cake out ready for my friend..see you all later..

Senior citizen moment.....

Morning Everyone,
And what a beauty it is here the sun is shining the washing is on the line,I've hoovered polished, loaded the dishwasher and now the rest of the day is mine..I had a bit of a senior citizen moment yesterday Lisa came to my mum's to cut our hair and we were talking about her new house and they want to get a dog,she asked me what side my parting went on because she was having a SCM as well and I said this side pointing well for the rest of the day everyone kept saying you look different,it was only when I looked in the mirror I realised my parting was on the wrong side it looked most odd but then ask any of my friends and they'll tell you I'm odd anyway..I managed to make this card yesterday afternoon,in between making cakes,rhubard crumble and a casserole good going yea ...

I have used a hanglar image which i hope covers all themes as he has been outdoors fishing, I really love  these images he is coloured with polychromos pencils blended with sansador..I have cut him out with my nesties and used antique linen distress ink blended around the edge...The DP is junkitz earth madras..the rest of the card and the ribbon is from my stash..the brads I have used are like little screws and I thought they went so well they came from Bee Crafty..the button's and the gold swirly thing are from my box..The sentiment is from Pink Gem designs 

off now to make some more cards,hope I don't get any interuptions..see you all later..

Just Magnoila Challenge...

Morning All,
Hope you all had a fab weekend.... Before I get to my card I just wanted to let you all know that Janet at Pink Gem Designs has a DT call on at the moment pop over and check out the requirements and good luck..I managed to get my crafty time yesterday afternoon and made this card.....

I would like to enter it into the following challenge...

Just Magnolia - it takes two

(I haven't masked my images I have put them inside so if I don't qualify to enter please delete my entery)

I have used Tilda as a butterfly on the front,she has been coloured with polychromos pencils blended with sansador...I have cut her out with my nesties and mounted her onto two more nesties there is glamour dust around the edge of the pink and on her wings...

it doesn't show up to well on the pic..I have used my MS doilie punch to make the border through the middle and layered up some card and ribbon on top..the flowers,card ribbon and pearls are all from my stash,the laeaves are punched out with my McGill punch...

Inside I have used Tilda with bee and Tilda with bike both coloured again with polychromos blended with sansador and cut out with my nesties...

Just got to pop out now with Hubby but will catch up with you all later...

Creative Craft Challenge....

Afternoon Everyone,
Just a quick post as lunch is nearly ready..roast beef and all the works today, and then an afternoon of crafting me thinks..I would like to say thank you to everyone who drops by and to those of you who leave such lovely comments I have neglected my crafting,blog and blogging buddies due to life in general with it's family problems,and illness these past few weeks but here's hoping  I can get back to normal now...On to my card....

I have used MME Penny Lane papers from my new pad they are all gorgeous I got them from Pink Tulip Creations...The image is one of the very first stamps I ever brought  and unfortunatley the name has rubbed off so I don't know who's it is...

I have coloured it with my polychromos pencils blended with sansador..the card,ribbon,buttons and pearls are all from my stash...the flowers have been layered up and are from Bee crafty... the sentiment is from a papermaina set..I have cut the image out with my nesties..Got to go I can smell my roast beef and everyone is loitering in the kitchen a sure sign their hungary...Take care..

Pink Gem Designs Challenge 4...

Morning everyone,
Over at A Gem of a challenge we're up to challenge 4 already, Sharon is hosting this month and has a picture for inspiration, so please pop over and check out my other team mates gorgeous cards, onto my card now...

I have used one of Janet's new images, this is schoolgirl Chloe, all of the new stamps will be available to buy from Pink Gem designs early next week. I have coloured Chloe with Polychromos pencils and blended with sansador, the paper is making memories pitter patter, all of the card, ribbon and flowers are from my stash, the sentiment is a Pink Gem designs one and is available on the website. Off now to do some gardening for my lovely mum and dad, then going into town but i have a card to post later this afternoon. Enjoy your weekend, take care.

Pink Gem Designs DT Card...

Evening everyone,
*YAWN* back from the weekend away, feeling more tired than when i went, hence the BIG yawn ;) the weather was awful, we took the laptop but it rained non stop, so we couldn't get the dongle to work properly :) *YAWN AGAIN* As you might have guessed Katy is typing this for me because she is fast at typing :) I made this card before we went and then couldn't upload it because the internet wouldn't work :(
This is my Pink Gem Designs DT card, i have used Sprinkles with attitude and her dog sparkle... I would like to enter it into the Truly Scrumptious challenge - Sketch & hidden message...

I have coloured her with Polychromos pencils blended with paper stumps and sansador and used glamour dust for her wings and sparkles wings and cut out with nesties. The papers are all big DCWV linen closet and i have used Tea Dye and Antique Linen distress inks around the edges...

The leaves have been cut with my McGill punch, the flowers and ribbon are all from my stash...

The sentiment is Pink Gem Designs. I will be back tomorrow with another card, i hope you have all had a lovely weekend...
