I found time !!!!

Morning Everyone,
I finally found time yesterday to make a card just for fun...I'm hoping I have had my share of lifes knocks..had to go to Doc's for blood test yesterday,then to dentist as some of you may remember I had an infected gum a few weeks ago well Saturday morning it came back with a vengence,but fingers crossed it's all fixed now lots of antibiotics injected up between the tooth and the gum..On to my card as Hubby is home on hols this week and we are popping into Oxford....

I have used one of the Kraftin Kimmie stamps coloured with polychromos pencils..cut her out with my nesties...I'm going to blame the painkillers,antibiotics, and old age but I don't know what the paper is as Katy has put it away for me and now I can't find it,it has to be there but I can't see it,I will look later and edit this..

The ribbon,charm,flowers and other card is from my stash..Anyway got to go will do some more blog hopping later..Don't forget to enter my new just for fun and Thank You Candy at the top of the page..

Firstly Can I say a big sorry to everyone for being a bad blogger this past week, but life has decided to be cruel to me...I don't seem to have any time for my crafting and this week has been really bad as we had problems with the main sewage pipe which goes across our garden it got blocked and flooded my patio,then yesterday my printer went wrong so Katy really needs to be able to print out homework so I had to buy a new one..and then today we had the sewage pipe looked at they put a camera down to check it and we found out that it all needs to be renewed at the cost of quite a few thousand pounds so I'm not a very happy bunny with life at the moment..Anyway enough of my problems on to the winner of my candy...Picked by Random.Org....

Hi Everyone I'm still here !!!!!....

Evening Everyone,
I'm still here last week and this week and possible next week as Hubby is on holiday have been and will be so busy for me..I've been busy teaching classes,looking after my Mum and Dad,being a taxi service for Katy who is on school holidays and because we live in a small village with a very limited bus service she has to be taken nearly every where.I had the great pleasure on Saturday afternoon after my teaching class of meeting Shirley (Nannieflash) and her lovely Husband Ian for coffee,they were in the area so we had a lovely old chat.Anyway enough of me rambling on this is my DT card for Pink Gem Designs.....

I have used Larry Lamb coloured in with polychromos  pencils blended with sansodor..the fence,sun,clouds and birds are all stamped with woodware stamps and coloured the same..The grass I have made by cutting a strip of green card cutting the top to look like grass rolling it up putting a flower on the front and sticking it to the card..

I have fixed Larry Lamb to the card with a spring so he stood out...

Sorry not the best of pics but you can just see the spring..The card,ribbon and sentiment are all from my stash...Well that's my card hope you like it..I'm really sorry if I haven't been by your blog but I have been trying to visit as much as I could and I will try to catch up with everyone as quickly as I can..Take care..

It's the weekend!!!!...

Evening Everyone,
How you all doing? Have you all had a good week?..Mine has beeen just busy I've been crafting it's just not been for here...Monday Hubby was home and he took me out for lunch,Tuesday I finished getting my bits together for the class I was teaching at the craft shop on Wednesday...And then Wednesday I taught the class and  as I went to come home it snowed so heavy it was like a white out so  had to wait about 30 minutes before I could see to be able to drive home..and then yesterday I had a phone call from a lovely lady who I have met through blogging and we were just chattering away for ages she know's who she is and it was lovely..so on to today well I had the Doctor's this morning for my regular check up..then I took my dear Mum and Dad to get their shopping...came back finished getting my bits together for my other teaching class  for tomorrow..the other crafting has been some surprises so until I know the people who they are for have received them I can't post them on here..but I did make this card for the Friday Sketchers challenge and then got distracted and didn't manage to get it posted anyway here it is....

The image is Spring Milly from Pink Gem Designs coloured with polychromos pencils and blended with sansodor..then she has been cut out with a nestie..the paper is Basic Grey Origins which I got from A maze of Memories and I love it..the other card is all from my stash...

 

The flowers are from Bee Crafty ..the gem dew drops and ribbon are from my stash..I have used a prima flower centre in the middle of my ribbon that also came in a packet of mixed colours from A Maze of Memories...Before I go can I remind you all about the New A Gem of a Challenge we have a sketch for you to follow so please please pop over and join in and give us your lovely support you don't have to use a Pink Gem Designs  image you can use any image you like but to win the two stamps which Janet has kindly donated you will have to use one of the images...Take care...Enjoy your weekend and I will be back  late afternoon tomorrow with a card...

Our First Challenge....

Morning everyone,
Today's the day it's our first challenge over at A Gem of a Challenge and it's my turn to host..I have a sketch for you so please pop over and join us you don't have to use a Pink Gem Designs image but if you do you could win two of janets fabulous stamps of your choice(subject to availability).. if you make the top three you will get a badge for your sidebar and everyone is entered for these..the design team will be picking their top three..This is the sketch to follow..

and this is my A Gem of a Challenge DT card....

I have used one of Pink Gem Designs new Images called love frog..I know frog's are usually green but I'm a woman I make my own rules and I wanted a pink frog..lol...the papers are doodlebug and a sheet from the new pink parfait pad..I have coloured the frog in with polychromos and blended with sansodor...

The sentiment is also one of Pink Gem Designs..and the flowers are from my stash with the larger one having a centre added that I got from A Maze Of Memories the two smaller ones have gem dew drops from my stash..and I have used them at the top and bottom..The border is punched with my MS punch...Please pop over and check out the A Gem of a Challenge and see the lovely cards that my other talented teamies have made...Hubby is home today so no crafting but he is taking me out for lunch..wonder what he want's..lol

Oh Those Bins!!!

Hi Everyone,
I'm back with my second post for today please scroll down and check out my Denny Dragon card...I  have had a bit of a mad afternoon.....I thought I was helping out the lady who live's opposite me she's 90 and her family live away so when they have emptied the recycling and the bins because we live in a cul-de-sac if her bins are out when you get yours in you put her's away well I did except we had new bin men who got them all muddled up and I made it worse by putting someone else's round the back of her house so there was a major bin hunt going on...lol you would think I'd help wouldn't you no I got the giggles and was nearly hysterical so poor Hubby joined the search...Before I post my card if you look in my sidebar there's a picture of some candy that Janet over at Pink Gem Designs  has on offer it's to celebrate her birthday this month and the launch of the new A Gem of a Challenge, Challenge blog on Monday the 8th feb so click on the pic and pop over to check out what you need to do to enter...on to my card...

Soo Many Challenges!!!!

Morning Everyone,
Wow I can't belive I'm posting  a card this early in the morning...I had a lovely night last night finally got warm after my nice soak in the bath with my new bubble bath...Hubby could finally turn the heating down and get dressed he had to strip down  as he was soo hot and I was soo cold and had the heating turned way up..anyway I settled down to watch P.S I love you not realising how funny it was but also how sad so after about 15 minutes into the film he's died and I'm crying already I'm such a softie.. Hubby is rolling his eyes and Katy is saying Mum it's not real it's a film and I'm sobbing yea but it's so sad...loved it though..On to my card now I've used one of the Pink Gem Designs stamps called Denny in love....

I have coloured Denny with Polycromos pencils and blended with sansodor cut him out and just inked the edge with black then layered him onto another piece of white card...

The hearts I've cut with my nesties and run the white ones through the swiss dots cuttlebug folder...the Red card I have punched with my MS hearts punch you can just see it..I wanted a bit of depth so I raised the small heart on some pads and put the three small roses  from my stash in the middle..the ribbon is from the Craft Gallery and the sentiment is from Pink Petticoat..the  gem dew drops are from my stash..I can't believe I can enter this in so many challenges It's the most I've ever done but if for any reason I can't be entered in some of them then please scrub me out..I will be back a bit later with another card just waiting for it to dry... see you then..

Sketch and Stash Challenge!!!

Evening Everyone,
Don't know what's wrong with me today but I can't get warm..Hubby came home and said he thought we had moved into a sauna it was soo hot in here...I don't care I've had a lovely day I've spent it with michael Buble` and Paolo Nutini they helped do some crafting!!! lol..Anyway I was lucky enough to win the last sketch and stash challenge so I thought I would post the card I have made for their new challenge it's a lovely sketch....

I've used a stamp from a new set I had for christmas called Murray & Ethel..the images and sentiments are fab..made me so think of myself with this saying...I've coloured Ethel with my promarkers and cut her out with my nesties...the orange DP is from doodlebug and the other card is from my stash....

I've used three flowers layered them up and put a gem dew drop in the middle....Well that's it from me for today off to have a bit of a soak in the bath and then I'm going to watch the film  "P.S I love you" I am soo in love with Gerard Butler.....just want to say thank you soo much to all of my followers for following little old me and for all of the lovely comments you leave I appreciate each and everyone of you..Take care..See you all tomorrow.

Pink Gem Designs DT card....

Afternoon Everyone,
How you all doing?..Good I hope..Won't bore you with where I've been these last few days but I have been  sorting some thing's out...On to my card this is my DT card for Pink Gem Designs.... Isn't Kaya sweet she is one of the new stamps why not pop over and check out all the new stamps at Pink Gem Designs and while your there check out the 6 stamps that Janet has 35% off until the end of February...I've followed the lovely sketch over at sketch saturday so willl enter it in the challenge..
