Some more news and new stamps at Pink Gem Designs.....

Hi Everyone,

A REALLY REALLY BIG SORRY for not announcing the winner of my November candy and starting the December one last night but I spent yesterday evening and all of the night at the John Radcliffe hospital...Got home at 5.30am,need to sleep but can't, lots to do.....

The new candy is now at the top of the page.....

I have decided to announce the winner of Novembers' candy in a separate post so that is below.....

Just when I thought things couldn't get anymore awful my lovely dear old Mum had a fall in doors yesterday, late afternoon she has two replacement hips and unfortunately has managed to damage one,it took the two Paramedics over an hour to get her sorted and into the ambulance as she was in so much pain and they were concerned not to do anymore damage,and with 4 steps to both the front and back of their house all covered in ice and with snow everywhere it was a nightmare for them to get her out of the house and into the ambulance safely not only for her but for themselves as well..When I got to the hospital they had my Mum in trauma and resuscitation which was a bit worrying,but apparently because she has heart trouble as well it was the best place,anyway they examined,manipulated,x-rayed about 4 times and have decided that today she will be transferred to another hospital The Nuffield Orthopaedic in Oxford where it looks like she will have to have another hip replacement so not a good outcome,but as you all know things may have changed by the time I get back up there,so as a family we are doing well a family member in nearly all the hospitals in Oxford,sorry if I don't make a joke I'm likely to cry...

When I got the phone call about my Mum I was just in the middle of doing a post so here it is.....

Skin - Ivory,Blush,Dusky Pink

Hair - Vanilla,pastel yellow,primrose

Jeans - pastel blue,powder blue,denim blue

shoes - cinnamon,tan,sandstone

Sweater - poppy,berry red,red...Edge is mustard

Stars - buttercup

The sketch I've followed is from our challenge this month over at A Gem of a Challenge,it's a great one designed by Christine,and there's still time to join us until the 7th Dec....

The papers are from Echo Park brought from A Maze of Memories,I've used both sides..All of the other card,embossed card and textured card are from my stash...I've tied a raffia bow as I wanted it to stay un-cluttered...The sentiment is also a new stamp over at Pink Gem Designs....
