Pink Gem DT Cards....

Hi Everyone,
I've managed to do some crafting this morning,I was finishing my card for Janet over at Pink Gem Designs..I started it before my back went and it should have been posted on Monday evening for the release of the new Ellie stamps...I got to play with "Ellie with gift" isn't she gorgeous....

I've coloured her with my polychromos pencils blended with sansador...The paper is from a Dovecraft pad called "Let it snow"...The card is from my stash as are the gem dew drops and ribbon which I have threaded through the trellis which I punched out with my MS punch....

I would like to enter it into the following challenge...
The sentiment is also from Pink Gem Designs......

Onto my next card which is my DT card,I wanted to make an easel card and I'd seen some fabulous ones over at Papercrafts by Rach so I lifted one of Rachel's fab ideas to use a tag to put your message on,please popover and check out her fantastic cards...

I've used Winter Milly, again coloured with polychromos pencils...The DP is MME "lost and found",it's lovely and glittery perfect for Christmas...The green card, gem dew drops and ribbon are from my stash...

I have glittered Milly's boots, scarf and ear muff's and the log...

As you can see from the pic above I've put an acetate front on and punched a fence out with my MS punch twice and then stuck them either side of the acetate...Then used a closure with a star brad through so you can keep it closed....

Here's a pic showing both the front and the tag...Hope you like them both...Off now to have a walk around as my back is still giving me pain as I've been sat doing this post, certainly feeling a lot better than it was..Must admit that Monday morning it had me in tears a few times, didn't know what to do to make it better...Take care...Oh forgot to say the sentiment is from a Papermania set thought it went well with the style of card..right I'm defiantly off now..lol..

Oh Mandy Sorry to hear your back is still causing you problems, poor u, what can you do to make it better? Asuming you are taking tablets, I too have back problems and use one of those hot things you put in the microwave, it always seems to give me some relief.
Your cards are gorgeous, love the shape of them, I have just done a shaped card and it's so different isn't it. Debbiexx

Oh Mandy my heart goes out to you. For me it's my neck. It went out on me and I haven't been able to craft for nearly a month. Today is my first pain free day and I'm afraid to move for fear of throwing it out again. Hope you will be 100% soon.
Your cards are both brilliant. Love the colors, well I love everything about them both.
Blessings Bernie

...forgot to say I know what it's like having a bad back making you cry. People who have never suffered won't understand as it's not a visible ailment. Back problems run in our family. My Dad has had major ops on his back, and I have suffered too with sciatica, mainly during pregnancy, and also was laid up for 5 days with it when I tried to get the pram out of the car roof box on my own. It's had me in tears and you just don't know where to put yourself do you?
