Hope you've all had a good day, it's been nice here but in the last hour or so it's got really cold...as promised here is something i've been working on over the last couple of weeks....My lovely mum taught me to knit many moons ago but i haven't done any for a long time but fancied having a go again..I saw this pattern and just knew I wanted to knit it,now I just need someone to have a baby or someone to buy it....NO I'm not having one just to use it...
It's a baby blanket and I really loved making it... here's a close up of the pattern..
Hope you all like it....Some of you having been asking about my previous card posted yesterday..It is a card I've made up from using two spring cards..You make two of these cards following the instructions from
splitcoaststampers here, then you don't stick it down as instructed in step 6 leave it free..then put adhesive onto the back of one of the diamonds turn both cards to the side and stick the two diamonds one on top of the other with the straight edges on either side..you will find that when you push it together it will fit into a square envelope hope this helps but if not just e-mail me and I will try and explain it better...Now onto the extra goodies added to my candy for this week here is a picture I will also put the picture onto the candy post at the top...
well that's all for today..Please let me know what you think of my something different leave me a comment especially if your new or shy so I can come and visit you...Take care..

Good morning Mandy, i am so sorry you had trouble with your gums, i can imagine how painful that was, glad tohear your better. I am loving all the cards you've been making again, they are all fabulous hunny. I could not believe it when i saw the baby blanket, it brought back lots of memories, i made this exact blanket for my youngest son 13 years ago, unfortunately i didn't keep it. It has made me feel like getting the pins out again!!! lovely work hunny, big hugs Linda x
Wow, I'm speechless. The blanket is so beautiful.
Unfortunately, my grandsons, already 14 and 16 years old. To knit such beautiful things or to buy I have to wait until I'm great-grandmother.

Oh wow, your blanket is stunning, all that detail!!! I wish I could knit, I tried to make a blanket when I was pregnant with my second son but I was terrible so gave up. It was going to be a blanket made up of knitted squares sewn together, I managed 2 squares ;-)

Your baby blanket is spectacular! Your Mum did a great job teaching you. Aren't mums wonderful! Mine is 88 and I try to see her every 3 months. She is in TX and I am in MN/WI, I have to fly down. But she is worth it. I hope you find someone special who is having a baby for such a special blanket. Thanks for sharing it. Makes me want to knit again. Happy hugs, Martha
Goodness me Mandy, this bring back memories. My Mum knitted that pattern for cot and pram covers for my children.
I always admire knitting as I just can't do it.
