Keep Calm......

Happy Bank Holiday weekend  everyone,if your not lucky enough to have one then I hope you  still have a great one,the sun was shining all day yesterday it was lovely,today it is raining,only lightly but still raining,hope we see some more sun....

Today see's a new challenge over at A Gem of a Challenge and my lovely team mate Debs is hosting and has the theme of.....

Make it Sentimental 

(No Image - Just a Sentiment)

So for my card I have used the fabulous keep calm baby sentiments from Pink Gem Designs,yes I said sentiments as I just couldn't make one card,what about if I made one for a baby girl and needed one for a baby boy so I made one of each both on the same design....

I've used one of the 6 x 6 embossing folders for my background then mounted it onto pink card and raised it up on fixers....Then I have added the sentiment to a piece of white card then a piece of pink gingham card again I added fixers to raise it up to give more dimension....And finished off with a ribbon and bow with saddle stitch ribbon from Crafty Ribbons and some pearl gems and a heart gem...

Two very simple cards but I like them and it was lovely to have some me time to have a little play,I'm also having a play with something else which I'll tell you about in another post....

Not Well???....

What another fabulously sunny morning,feels lovely....Today see's a new challenge over at Crafty Ribbons Challenge and it's one that everyone loves it's an Anything Goes all we ask is that there is ribbon on your card/project etc somewhere and you could be the lucky person who gets a £10 voucher to spend on some gorgeous ribbon.....

Now on to my card,confession first I have used my distress markers to colours this cute little bear from Stamp Fairy,please don't look to closely as I don't think I have mastered them at all,still need loads of practice....I have cut out with my nesties....

The papers are from the Papermania pad Home for Christmas but I think there are ones in there that can be used all year round like these....I layered on to kraft card...The band across the middle I punched with a Fiskars punch..

The flowers are from Mulberry Crafts and Wild Orchid Crafts the pearl brad in the centre of the bow is from my stash,I used red satin streamers ribbon from Crafty Ribbons...The sentiment is from a set from Cuddly Buddly....

The inside is decorated to compliment the front.....

I have a card at last,things have been bad these past few weeks with my parents which as you know has a knock on effect with me,but I finally managed to make a card,again not a complicated one but I did enjoy my me time,I made it for the midway reminder of the challenge over at Crafty Ribbons Challenge and my lovely teamie Dawn has the theme of PINK & GREEN,so here is my card......  

I've used one of the fabulous digi images from Sassy Cheryl's Stamps called Pondering Thoughts I love the sentiment that comes with it....I've coloured with my Promarkers and Flexmarkers...

The papers are from a pad but unfortunately I don't have the cover with the name on,sorry....The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.. The ribbons above the flowers are from Crafty Ribbons and are sheer dots, green satin dots and the gorgeous French Rose ribbon and I've added a pearl to the centre of each rose....

Here's what I made for our challenge:

I've used one of the fabulous images from Sassy Cheryl's Digis coloured with polychromos pencils and sansador......The gingham glitter card and the purple gingham card are from my stash...

The lovely swirl is a Magnolia Doo Hickey the corner is a whimsy stamp die from a set of 4...The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and Mulberry Crafts.....I've used lace and pink polka dot ribbon both from Crafty Ribbons...The sentiment is from a set from Cuddly Buddly...The pearls from my stash...

Make it Cute.....

Happy Easter weekend everyone,I hope your having a lovely one what ever your doing....

Today see's a new challenge over at A Gem of a Challenge and my lovely team mate Lyndsey is hosting and has the theme of....

MAKE IT CUTE....

And here is what I made,looking at it now I'm not sure it's cute,but hey ho here it is.....

I've used the adorable Chloe in knitted hat from Pink Gem Designs  I have cut her out and raised her up onto a mat cut out with the Spellbinder Floral Oval dies again from Pink Gem Designs which I have made a light cloud background and some grass done with my promarkers....

The papers are from the new Papermainia Forever Friends pad....The ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons from the Jam pot ribbons range...The sentiment is from a Cuddly Buddly set.....The flowers I have made with 2 Tonic punches and layered them together and the little rolled roses I made by hand and finished them all off with a pearl from my stash...

Moving over to bloglovin...

Hi Everyone,

It looks like a lot of us are moving over to Bloglovin due to Google reader closing and I was thinking how will I know when any of you have Bloglovin and I can come and follow you,if I miss a post telling everyone....

On the move....

I've finally managed to get here to show you my cards for our new challenge over at A Gem of a Challenge and my lovely team mate Kelly is hosting and she has the theme of..

ON THE MOVE

 I have a moving part as opposed to an image that was moving,and I've made two cards the same except for the image and colour,and here they are.....

The images I've used are from Pink Gem Designs and are called Baby Girl sleeping Teddy and Baby Boy sleeping Teddy both have been coloured with Promarkers and Flexmarkers...I've then cut them out and cut a mat for the back then I've sandwiched Swiss Dot Grosgrain ribbon in Pink and blue from Crafty Ribbons between the two...

I've then cut an aperture in the front to the card and cut a frame to go around it...I've used a lovely polka dot backing card then added an embossed white piece of card,I've then taped the ribbon to the back so the image hangs and moves....The small sentiment at the bottom is from a set from Cuddly Buddly and I've used an alphabet set to cut out the New Baby sentiment at the top....The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and Mulberry Crafts,the heart pins are from my stash...
